ABOUT JILLIAN HYNYNEN, LCSW
A THERAPIST
WHO GETS IT.

I work with clients who feel like they don't fit the typical therapy mold.

  • Maybe you've cycled through therapists who treated one issue at a time, but missed the bigger picture.

  • Maybe you're done feeling like you’re talking in circles but not changing.

  • Maybe your family wants to help, but has opinions about how you should handle life.

Here's what I know: You're not broken. You're not "too messed up" to heal. You just need someone who sees how it all connects.

I'm deeply honored when someone trusts me with their story—the beautiful parts, the painful parts, and everything in between. That trust is sacred to me.

I've always been drawn to the beauty in messiness—like kintsugi pottery, where broken pieces are repaired with gold and become more stunning than the original. Maybe that's why I love working with people who've been through hard things; I see the gold in their cracks before they do.

Understanding first, lectures come… never.

What you need is a space to be honest about everything going on, with someone you trust who is skilled to sort it all out with you (cough cough: maybe that’s me).

Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body, their mind, and their healing space. And before we can break patterns, you need to feel safe enough to examine them. I work to normalize your experiences, then help you understand what's keeping you stuck and what could work better.

That's why clients often say my office feels like "home" - because

real change happens when you're not in survival mode.

Think we might be a good fit?

I'd love to work with you!
